Calyces Nuevo Original Painting

This big bright painting is an eye catcher and instant mood lifter! Based on the Alkekengi or "Lantern Plant" that go skeletal and leave a little weblike cage around the bloom. I fell in love with this interesting plant the minute I saw it and designed other strange bulbuous arrangements to accompany it.

36" x 36" on gallery wrapped canvas with a 1.5" thick border, painted sides so no frame is required. Comes signed and ready to hang.
